Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is at website TradeTheDay.
